Job Details: Job Location: The Lutheran Home Belle Plaine - Belle Plaine, MN, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $19.09 - $19.50Hourly, Job descriptionOur nursing home community is searching for an Activities Assistant to join our dedicated team.We’re looking for a caring and compassionate person who would love to make a difference in peoples' lives. We’re looking for an individual who truly cares about making our community the best home possible for our residents.Available Position:- 1 part-time position in our rehabilitation and long term care neighborhoods and/or our memory care neighborhood. Every other weekend - shifts are 10 am to 4 pm.This is a great opportunity for a high school student or someone looking to spend time and be involved with the well-being of our geriatric population! It is a very rewarding environment!Primary functions include (but not limited to): Create and provide activities of therapeutic value. Targeting group activities that will provide educational value, mental, physical and sensory stimulation (i.e. crafts, current events, 1 to 1's, game time, baking, outside entertainment, bingo, discussion groups, active games, etc.).
