Express Technician

Team Hyundai of Bend is seeking a motivated and dependable Express Lube Technician to join our growing service team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start or advance their career in the automotive industry. The Express Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services efficiently while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes in accordance with manufacturer specifications
   
• Complete tire rotations, tire pressure checks, and basic tire inspections
   
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors
   
• Check and top off vehicle fluids (coolant, brake fluid, washer fluid, etc.)
   
• Replace air filters and cabin filters as needed
   
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
   
• Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
   
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members regarding vehicle status
   

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
   
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required
   
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
   
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
   
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
   
• Basic hand tool knowledge
   
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
   

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
   
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
   
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and shop conditions
