ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced OpenStack Developer to build, customize and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions. The role involves OpenStack development, automation, deployment, upgrades and migrations, with strong focus on Python, Linux, networking and containerized environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, customize and maintain OpenStack services and custom drivers.

Work extensively with Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone and other OpenStack components.

Deploy and manage containerized OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible.

Handle OpenStack upgrades, migration and maintenance projects.

Develop automation scripts and solutions using Python.

Troubleshoot Linux, networking and OpenStack infrastructure issues.

Work with Kubernetes, Docker, networking and High Availability technologies.

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve cloud infrastructure reliability and performance.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

6–7 years of relevant OpenStack development experience.

Strong knowledge of Nova, Neutron, Cinder and Keystone.

Strong Python and Linux programming/scripting skills.

Hands-on experience with Kolla-Ansible.

Experience in OpenStack upgrade and migration projects.

Good understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, networking and HA.

Strong automation and troubleshooting skills.

Upstream OpenStack contribution experience will be an advantage.
