About the Role

The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for supportingand coordinating placement activities for learners by connecting withemployers, organizing interviews and job drives, tracking student outcomes, andensuring timely joining and retention. The role requires strong coordinationwith students, centre teams, Placement Officers, and industry partners toachieve placement targets and ensure quality placements.

Key Responsibilities

·        Placement Coordination

·        Coordinate end-to-end placement activities forlearners across assigned centres/projects.

·        Understand learner profiles, skills, locationpreferences, and job readiness to facilitate suitable opportunities.

·        Share relevant job openings and interviewschedules with eligible learners.

·        Coordinate candidate shortlisting, interviewschedules, selection updates, and joining formalities.

·        Ensure regular follow-up with selectedcandidates until joining.

2. Employer & Industry Coordination

·        Coordinate with existing employers for jobopenings, interviews, and placement requirements.

·        Support the team in identifying and connectingwith new organizations for placement opportunities.

·        Maintain regular communication with HRrepresentatives and employer SPOCs.

·        Collect and communicate job descriptions,eligibility criteria, salary details, work location, and interview informationaccurately.

3. Job Drives & Interview Coordination

·        Plan and coordinate physical and virtual jobdrives, interviews, walk-ins, and recruitment events.

·        Ensure adequate candidate mobilization andparticipation in job drives.

·        Coordinate with centre teams to ensurecandidates are briefed and prepared before interviews.

·        Track interview outcomes and ensure timelycommunication to candidates and relevant stakeholders.

4. Placement & Joining Tracking

·        Maintain accurate and updated placement,selection, joining, and retention trackers.

·        Follow up with selected candidates to ensurethey join within the committed timeline.

·        Monitor joining status and identify reasons fordropouts or non-joining.

·        Conduct regular follow-ups with placedcandidates to support retention.

·        Escalate critical cases and low-joining concernsto the reporting manager.

5. Placement Documentation & Data Management

·        Collect and verify required placement andjoining documents as per organizational guidelines.

·        Ensure placement proofs are complete, accurate,and uploaded within defined timelines.

·        Maintain proper records of employer details,candidate status, interview outcomes, joining, and retention.

·        Ensure placement data is updated accurately inrelevant systems/trackers.

6. Centre & Stakeholder Coordination

·        Work closely with Centre Coordinators, Trainers,Placement Officers, and other project teams.

·        Participate in regular review meetings and shareplacement updates, challenges, and action plans.

·        Support centres in planning weekly and monthlyplacement/job-drive calendars.

·        Ensure timely communication of placement-relatedinformation to all stakeholders.

7. Target Achievement & Reporting

·        Work towards achieving assigned placement,joining, and retention targets.

·        Prepare regular MIS and performance reports.

·        Analyse placement performance, identify gaps,and recommend corrective actions.

·        Track key indicators such as interviews,selections, joining percentage, placement conversion, and retention.



Requirements

Eligibility:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
1–3 years of experience in Placement
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and Google Workspace.
