Role Overview:

Looking for a hands-on Platform/DevOps/SRE Engineer with strong production coding, debugging, Kubernetes, cloud-native, CI/CD, security and performance engineering experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Embed with Product Engineering teams and participate in design, sprint and release activities.

• Troubleshoot production issues end-to-end across application and infrastructure.

• Review code/architecture and patch applications for security, upgrades and performance.

• Drive Kubernetes/platform migrations and self-service deployments.

• Establish monitoring, alerting, runbooks and failover strategies with SRE.

• Own OS, runtime, container and dependency patching cycles.

• Conduct load, performance and soak testing and implement remediation.

• Lead RCA during major incidents and improve platform architecture.

• Support developer enablement through workshops and pair programming.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5–8 years in Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering.

• Strong production coding/debugging in Go and Python.

• Ability to debug/patch Node.js/TypeScript, Java, .NET, C++, C and Dart/Flutter.

• Strong SQL: T-SQL, PL/pgSQL.

• Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Cilium, Helm; working knowledge of GCP/GKE.

• Kong, Envoy, Istio and API Gateway/Service Mesh.

• Terraform, Terragrunt and Infrastructure-as-Code.

• GitHub Actions, Harness and CI/CD.

• Playwright, Cypress, PyTest, Testcontainers.

• K6, Locust, JMeter and performance testing.

• DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, SQL Server.

• Kafka, Redis and distributed systems.

• OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, logging and distributed tracing.

• Databricks, Databricks Apps and dashboards.

• SonarQube, Dependabot and JFrog.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot and CodeRabbit.

Nice to Have:

• Mobile DevOps – Fastlane, Flutter/Dart, Swift, Kotlin.

• Backstage internal developer platform.

• Gofr / NodeFr / Zode.

• LLM integration and prompt engineering.

• AWS/GCP or Kubernetes certifications.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
