About the role

Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is looking for Racquet Sports Instructors to join the recreation team at our state-of-the-art facility in Bentonville, Arkansas!

Schedule:

On-call/substitute position
Work on an as-needed basis to provide coverage when regular staff members are unavailable
Flexible opportunity to lead lessons, clinics, and racquet sports programming

Professionally design and teach high quality individual/group racquet lessons to children and/or adults of varying abilities while providing a fun, engaging playing environment that addresses the skill level of the students. Minor court/ equipment maintenance, preparation/breakdown of equipment for events.

Key Accountabilities

Design and teach individual and group racquet lessons.
Provide minor court/ equipment maintenance, preparation/breakdown of badminton equipment for events.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
1+ years racquet sports teaching experience with children and/or adults required.
Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety & Health Institute or National Safety Council required.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Start/complete lessons in a timely manner.
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.
Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands, meet deadlines, and collaborate with all business units.
Ensure students/players adhere to HF safety guidelines and demonstrate good sportsmanship.

The compensation range for this role is $28 - $30 per class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
