ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE TENURE TRACK POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Exercise Science/Strength and Conditioning  


Baldwin Wallace University has a tenure track position available in the Department of Allied Health, Sport and Wellness. The qualified individual will teach in the multidisciplinary department focusing on applied Exercise Science, Human Performance and Wellness. Anticipated starting date is August 1, 2027.


Responsibilities will include providing support for the administration of the accredited Exercise Science major, teaching in the undergraduate Exercise Science and Pre-Allied Health/Pre-Physical Therapy majors and; providing faculty governance service for the Department and University; serving as an advisor for undergraduate students; and participating in research, scholarship and professional development that engage students and colleagues. 

 

Qualifications require a doctorate in exercise physiology, strength and conditioning or related field. Professional certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist is required. Experience with CAAHEP and/or CASCE accreditation preferred. Candidates must have a strong commitment to quality teaching in an undergraduate program and have a desire to conduct research in collaboration with students and colleagues in their area of expertise. Certification as an American Heart Association CPR instructor desired.
