Under the supervision of the Head of Lifeguards & Safety, you are responsible for ensuring the safety and supervision of all guests at Bahrain Surf Park, as well as performing rescues when required. You maintain a vigilant presence both in and around the water, responding quickly and effectively to any incident to protect guests and BSP team. Calm, confident, and decisive under pressure, you are skilled in performing rescues, administering first aid, and managing emergency situations in a dynamic surf environment. Your professionalism, awareness, and commitment help create a safe and enjoyable experience for every visitor. |
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications | · Valid and up-to-date Lifeguard and First Aid certifications (specific qualifications to be confirmed with local authorities or Royal Life Saving Bahrain) |
Experience | · Minimum 2 years of experience as a beach, surf park, or waterpark lifeguard (or equivalent) · For Bahrain nationals only: complete RLSB Future Lifeguard Training Program · Previous experience in leisure, hospitality, or surf resort settings is an advantage · Experience with Middle Eastern culture and working environment is a plus |
Professional Skills&Attributes | · Excellent swimming ability, strong physical condition and confidence in a surf or wave environment · Surfing knowledge or experience is desirable · Calm and professional response under pressure with quick decision-making skills |
