A company with a reputation that goes back over 50 years is looking to add a Structural Engineer to their Chicago office!

Responsibilities:

Project oversight (setting priorities/developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process)
The ability to serve as a technical resource for less experienced engineers/designers
Design/analyze structural systems for a variety of buildings and structural projects
Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend project coordination meetings
Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Contribute to QA/QC processes
Mentor/train junior staff

Requirements:

Master'sdegree in civil engineering with a structural focus
6+ years of professional experience in structural design of buildings
Experience in leading the technical design of structural projects
Project management experience preferred
SE professional registration
Working knowledge of Revit

Salary is commensurate withexperience.
