A multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm is seeking a Survey Project Manager for their Chicago office.
The role involves team leadership, business development, budget management, and oversight of multiple large projects.
Candidates must possess a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license and have at least 8 years of land surveying experience in Illinois.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Trimble Business Center is required, along with experience operating Trimble robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
Salary will be commensurate with experience, and applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

Provide team leadership and supervise staff
Assist with business development for new andexisting clients
Develop budgets/proposals
Track costs/project budgets
Manage multiple large projects simultaneously
Plat creation, boundary calculations, andoversight
Research public records (at recordersoffice/online)

Requirements:

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
8+ years of land surveyor experience working inIllinois
Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, andTrimble Business Center
Ability to operate Trimble robotic totalstation and Trimble GPS equipment

Salary is commensurate with experience.
