Leading U.S. engineeringconsulting firm is seeking a Transportation Engineer for theirChicago office!

Responsibilities:

Involvement in design process/projectadvancement (setting priorities/developing objectives)
Use technical expertise to aid multi-disciplineteam
Prepare highway/roadwayand sewer plans, specifications, and estimates
Responsible for project permitting
Prepare project reports
Mentor/train junior engineers

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
5+years of practical design experience(transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design)
IL PE License
Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, municipal andIL Tollway design/standards
Good communication skills
Proficient in MicroStation/OpenRoadsrequired.
Working knowledge of modeling withOpenRoads preferred
Experience with AutoCAD Civil3Dsoftware preferred

Salary is commensurate withexperience.
