Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Manager for a 26-week travel assignment in Bethel, Alaska.
This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist with a strong clinical background who is ready to combine direct patient care with department leadership and operational responsibilities.
The Physical Therapy Manager will help oversee rehabilitation services, support clinical staff, coordinate patient-care activities, maintain quality standards, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Candidates should have at least 4 years of full-time direct patient-care experience, an active Alaska Physical Therapist license, and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Previous management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide leadership and operational oversight for Physical Therapy services.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support daily scheduling, staffing, workflow, and patient-care coordination.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supervise and support Physical Therapists and other rehabilitation staff as assigned.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain high standards of clinical care, patient safety, and professional practice.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide direct Physical Therapy services when required.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support staff orientation, mentoring, education, and competency development.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with performance management and staff development.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Promote collaboration between rehabilitation, nursing, physicians, case management, and other departments.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor departmental productivity, quality, and service performance.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with development and implementation of policies, procedures, and clinical workflows.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain compliance with applicable licensure, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure appropriate documentation and professional communication.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support department equipment and supply needs.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Identify operational issues and develop practical solutions.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the State of Alaska
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum 4 years of active, full-time patient-care experience
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Current BLS certification
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong clinical Physical Therapy experience
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex clinical or administrative situations
