Claxton Logistics is hiring an Editor to protect the accuracy of everything Walter Reed releases in writing: articles, web content, leadership messages, and staff-authored journal articles and presentations. You will run the editorial calendar, fact-check with clinicians, and check each clearance package before it goes to the Public Affairs Officer.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s in communications, journalism, English or related
5+ years of editing, copyediting or technical writing
Expert grammar and AP Style
Healthcare or military public affairs experience
HIPAA/PHI knowledge
Multi-author calendar management

Preferred Qualifications

Medical research, policy or doctrine editing
DoD public release clearance experience
