Neurological Unit Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide nursing care within the Neurological Unit at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This 13-week contract opportunity is ideal for an RN with a strong acute care background, including significant experience caring for neurological patients and patients experiencing seizures.

Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Position: Full-time RN
• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: Two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts
• Weekends & Holidays: As needed
• Pay: Starting at $38.95, Pay rates will be determined by experience.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited university; or
• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited university

Experience

• At least 2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience in Medical-Surgical care
• Strong experience in neurological care and seizure management required

Certifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)

Licensure

• Valid nursing license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
