YOUR DAY TO DAY:

To setup and operate a range of manual machinery, utilizing any accessories or tooling necessary to manufacture precision parts and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards. Independently determine order of operations and design tooling and workholding fixturing necessary to complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision. Will be responsible for first piece, in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain records and quality documentation.

 

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

 

  • Setup and operate a range of manual machinery
  • Independently determine order of operations and design tooling
  • Responsible for first piece, in-process and final inspections
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned

 

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

  • Highschool diploma or GED required.
  • Advanced trade school or AA in technical field preferred.
  • 3 years of advanced work experience or concentrated machining training with a strong understanding of machine tool processes.
  • Ability to read, interpret and work from technical drawings, written or verbal instructions.
  • Strong trouble shooting, problem-solving & organizational skills.
  • Fluent in the setup & operation of mills, lathes, surface grinders & other support equipment required.
  • ProtoTRAK experience preferred.
  • This role requires access to export-controlled information, subject to the ITAR and EAR, for which the company will not pursue an export license/license exception.  Must be a US person (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals) to be eligible for this role.

 

Salary Range: $30.00 - $50.00 / hour
