At the Y, our licensed childcare programs provide safe, nurturing environments where children build confidence, friendships, and lifelong skills. As a Substitute Teacher, you’ll support our Early Learning Centers in Beverly, Gloucester, Salem, Marblehead, and Ipswich, stepping in where needed to ensure continuity of care and a positive experience for every child. To qualify for the substitute teacher rate, candidates must be willing to travel to all listed locations. Qualifications Certification through the Massachusetts Department of Education and Care in Infant/Toddler or Preschool Education, or the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (NH) preferred but not required.  Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule. Ability to adapt quickly and step into new teaching environments as needed.
