Overview

 

As a Front Desk Associate, you’re one of the first team members guests will meet—and one of the most impactful on their experience. You’ll help set the tone for memorable stays at Big Sky Resort by providing professional, friendly, and responsive service from check-in through departure. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication skills, problem-solving, and collaboration with departments across the resort to ensure each guest feels truly taken care of.

Responsibilities

Picture yourself as a Front Desk Associate at Big Sky Resort and having the opportunity to:

  • Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and a can-do attitude
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, providing clear directions and accurate billing information
  • Maintain discretion and care when handling guest information and financial transactions
  • Communicate professionally over the phone, via email, and in person
  • Stay calm and attentive under pressure, always aiming to exceed guest expectations
  • Solve guest issues efficiently and creatively, taking ownership of their experience
  • Contribute to a team culture rooted in positivity, productivity, and exceptional service
  • Collaborate with various departments to fulfill guest requests and coordinate solutions
  • Uphold all Big Sky Resort and Boyne USA policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Positive attitude and genuine interest in learning

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred

  • Comfortable using computers and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to lift, push or pull at least 35 pounds
  • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
  • Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
