About the Role:

The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a productive, compliant, and positive workplace environment. The manager will lead initiatives related to employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and affirmative action policies. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in benefits administration and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment or with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and data analytics tools.
  • Advanced training in conflict resolution or mediation.
  • Experience managing HR operations in a multi-site or diverse organizational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor human resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational standards.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including health plans, retirement programs, and other employee perks to ensure competitive and compliant offerings.
  • Lead affirmative action initiatives and ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations to promote diversity and equal opportunity.
  • Coordinate disciplinary procedures and performance management processes to maintain workforce accountability and development.
