Job Details: Job Location: Wood Fruitticher Grocery Co Inc - Irondale, AL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Title: Warehouse Sanitation WorkerJob Type: Full-TimeShift Options: Monday-Friday 5am-2pm or Sunday-Thursday 3pm-work is completed for the evening.Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Sanitation Worker to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout our facility. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning various warehouse areas, including dry, cooler and freezer docks, restrooms, breakrooms and outdoor spaces.Key Responsibilities: Maintain overall warehouse cleanliness, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. Clean and sanitize floors, docks, storage areas, and equipment to maintain hygiene standards. Work in varying temperatures, including dry storage, refrigerated, and freezer environments, as well as outdoor areas. Properly handle and dispose of waste materials, including recyclables, trash, and hazardous materials as required. Clean and restock restrooms, break areas, and other common spaces. Operate sanitation equipment, such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers. Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. Lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. regularly, as well as perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods. Take direction from supervisors but also work independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently.Qualifications: Qualifications: Previous experience in industrial sanitation, warehouse, or janitorial work is a plus but not required. Ability to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerated and freezer conditions. Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Must be comfortable cleaning restrooms and handling general sanitation duties.
