This position is based in Birmingham, AL. Ideal candidates reside in or near the Birmingham, AL area.Â
What you'll doÂ
Participate in project, program, and portfolio meetings, and help keep leadership informed on progressÂ
Help track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items across multiple initiativesÂ
Support agile ceremonies across our Agile Release Trains, including PI Planning, team standups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and system demosÂ
Help maintain schedules, dashboards, reports, and portfolio and delivery metricsÂ
Support the build-out of team-health, flow, and predictability views that help teams and leaders see how work is progressingÂ
Collaborate with teams to capture requirements, meeting notes, and project artifactsÂ
Assist with executive presentations, status reports, and governance materialsÂ
Support continuous improvement by helping refine PMO and agile ways-of-working processes, templates, and toolsÂ
Work with business and technology stakeholders to keep project information accurate and currentÂ
Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Agile PMO teamÂ
What you'll bringÂ
Currently pursuing a BS or BA in Business, Information Technology, Organizational Leadership, Engineering, or a related fieldÂ
Interest in one or more of: project management, Agile delivery, portfolio management, business operations, or technology deliveryÂ
Basic understanding of project management and/or Agile and Scrum conceptsÂ
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and TeamsÂ
Exposure to delivery and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, Power BI, or Microsoft Project is a plusÂ
Awareness of SAFe or other scaled-agile approaches is a plusÂ
Strong organizational skills and attention to detailÂ
Clear written and verbal communicationÂ
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a teamÂ
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentÂ
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsÂ
Curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous-improvement mindsetÂ
