BARTENDER

Starting pay: $12.14 + Tips

The Bartender delivers exceptional beverage service by preparing and serving drinks accurately, efficiently, and with genuine hospitality. This role ensures guests enjoy a memorable experience by maintaining product knowledge, monitoring alcohol consumption responsibly, and upholding high standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest engagement in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with recipes and service standards. 
• Take beverage orders from guests and servers, ensuring timely delivery and positive interactions. 
• Maintain full knowledge of bar products, drink preparation methods, alcohol laws, and responsible service guidelines. 
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption, identify signs of intoxication, and enforce company policies to ensure a safe environment. 
• Engage guests with friendly, helpful, and professional service that enhances their overall experience. 
• Sell cigarettes, amenities, and food items as permitted, ensuring accurate transactions. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar by replenishing supplies, filling ice bins, cleaning equipment, and removing trash. 
• Operate bar equipment and POS systems accurately and efficiently. 
• Maintain a calm, pleasant, and professional demeanor during high‑volume or stressful situations.
• Support team members and communicate effectively with all departments. 
• Perform additional duties or special assignments as required.

Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience preferred. Knowledge of bar equipment, beverage preparation, and alcohol laws and regulations. 
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to create positive, engaging interactions. 
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in high‑stress or high‑volume situations. 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license. 
• High school diploma or GED preferred. 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. 

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required. 

  ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and twist for extended periods. 
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive tasks. 
• Comfort working in environments with smoke, variable temperatures, lighting, and noise levels. 
• Ability to safely handle glassware, bar tools, beverages, and cleaning chemicals. 
• Compliance with all company policies, responsible alcohol service guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
