The Bartender delivers exceptional beverage service by preparing and serving drinks accurately, efficiently, and with genuine hospitality. This role ensures guests enjoy a memorable experience by maintaining product knowledge, monitoring alcohol consumption responsibly, and upholding high standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest engagement in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with recipes and service standards.Â
- Take beverage orders from guests and servers, ensuring timely delivery and positive interactions.Â
- Maintain full knowledge of bar products, drink preparation methods, alcohol laws, and responsible service guidelines.Â
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption, identify signs of intoxication, and enforce company policies to ensure a safe environment.Â
- Engage guests with friendly, helpful, and professional service that enhances their overall experience.Â
- Sell cigarettes, amenities, and food items as permitted, ensuring accurate transactions.Â
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar by replenishing supplies, filling ice bins, cleaning equipment, and removing trash.Â
- Operate bar equipment and POS systems accurately and efficiently.Â
- Maintain a calm, pleasant, and professional demeanor during high‑volume or stressful situations.
- Support team members and communicate effectively with all departments.Â
- Perform additional duties or special assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Prior bartending experience preferred. Knowledge of bar equipment, beverage preparation, and alcohol laws and regulations.Â
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create positive, engaging interactions.Â
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in high‑stress or high‑volume situations.Â
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.Â
- High school diploma or GED preferred.Â
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.Â
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required.Â
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSÂ
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and twist for extended periods.Â
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.Â
- Comfort working in environments with smoke, variable temperatures, lighting, and noise levels.Â
- Ability to safely handle glassware, bar tools, beverages, and cleaning chemicals.Â
- Compliance with all company policies, responsible alcohol service guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
