Black River Health is looking for a dependable, positive, and team-oriented Nutrition Services Assistant to join our Nutrition Services department!

This is a great opportunity to be involved in all aspects of food service while making a difference in the lives of our patients, visitors, and employees. From food preparation and cooking to meal delivery and customer service, no two days are exactly alike!

POSITION DETAILS:

 WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare, cook, bake, and portion food.
• Deliver meals to patients and collect meal trays.
• Provide friendly customer service to patients, employees, and visitors.
• Assist with café operations and cashiering.
• Clean, sanitize, stock, and organize kitchen areas.
• Cross-train in various food service responsibilities and support team members as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service or commercial kitchen experience preferred.
• Availability to work rotating weekends and holidays and help cover other shifts as needed.
