Job Title: On-Call Nurse  

Schedule: 7-On/7-Off, Full-time salary paid

Job overview:   

Luminos Hospice is seeking a skilled and compassionate On-Call Nurse to join our team. As an On-Call Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients during off-hours and weekends. Primary functions are to administer nursing care for patients of all ages in their place of residence and to coordinate care with the Interdisciplinary Group/Team, patients, families, and referring agency. Assumes the responsibility for, and participates in, the coordination of care.  


Requirements

 

Education:  

  • Current state RN or LPN license.  

Licensure:  

  • Current State license in the state of practice.   
  • Current driver’s license.  
  • Current CPR Certification.  

Experience:  

  • Two (2) years' experience in a clinical care setting.
  • One (1) year full-time hospice.  

Skills:  

  • Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. 
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations. 
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational habits. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Good interpersonal skills.   

Transportation:  

  • Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
