Summary

Our Manager in Training (MIT) Program is a twelve (12) month rotation designed for graduating seniors and recent graduates who are ready to launch their careers in hospitality. This structured program provides hands-on experience across key resort departments, real responsibility from day one, and mentorship from experienced hospitality leaders.

This Administrative MIT rotates through the following divisions of the resort: Finance, HR, Marketing, Revenue, Sales, Executive Office support, reporting, coordination, and back-office operations


Key Responsibilities:

-    Participate in departmental rotations and support daily operations

-    Deliver high-quality guest service and uphold brand standards

-    Assist supervisors and managers with operational and administrative tasks

-    Learn scheduling, inventory control, reporting, and basic financial processes

-    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support resort initiatives

-    Demonstrate leadership potential and a willingness to learn


Internal Relationships

Reports to Director of People & Department Leader. Works closely with various leaders and associates of the Resort.


External Relationships

Maintains appropriate relationships with outside vendors and members and guests.


Qualifications

-    Basic hotel product knowledge, i.e. staffing, operations, safety, security, terminology, and hotel policies 

-    Basic knowledge of the hotel structure/layout and how all departments interact 

-    Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.

-    Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

-    Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications. 

-    Discretion: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

-    Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines, with a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.

-    Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.


Education/Experience Requirements

-    Graduating senior or recent university graduate (Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred)

-    Strong interest in hospitality, service, and operations

-    Positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn

-    Strong communication and teamwork skills

-    Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays


Physical Requirements

Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
