Operates radiographic equipment to obtain optimal radiographs of designated portions of the body to aid in diagnosis of disease. Â Direct responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patient care. Â Ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers.Â
Qualifications
Education:Â
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic TechnologyÂ
Experience:Â
- Thorough knowledge of Mammography in all forms of diagnostic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomyÂ
Required Certification/Licensure/Registration: Minimum:Â
- National Registry (R) (M) and Florida LicenseÂ
- American Heart Association BLS RequiredÂ
Preferred:Â
- ARRT certification in Bone Densitometry
