Clinical Skills Evaluator

The mission of the Department of PA Studies is to develop knowledgeable and caring physician assistants who practice competent patient-centered primary care with a focus on underserved populations. The Gardner-Webb University Department of Physician Assistant Studies seeks practicing medical professionals (with preference to MD, DO, PA, and NP) to function as Clinical Skills Evaluators who will work with our students during practical assessments and/or simulated clinical experiences and evaluate their clinical skills during the didactic phase of the program. The evaluators come on-site and use a provided rubric to grade the student. The position is a part-time, temporary position in which we build a pool of applicants to use as needed throughout the year.
