Grove Hotel - Banquet Server I

As a Banquet Server at the Grove Hotel, you will help bring events to life by providing excellent food and beverage service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and serve guests during meetings, banquets, and special events.
• Set up tables, chairs, linens, and place settings according to event specifications.
• Deliver food and beverages with professionalism and efficiency.
• Replenish beverages and clear plates as needed throughout the event.
• Verify guest identification before serving alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace during and after events.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with guests and fellow team members.
• Reset banquet space to pre-event condition after service.
• Work collaboratively to ensure smooth, high-quality event execution.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age (must be 19+ to serve alcohol).
• Boise alcohol certification required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to carry trays and serve with proper technique.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires.
• Open availability is a plus. 
• AM and PM shifts available!

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
