Stantec’s Environmental Services practice seeks a Project Manager and Senior Environmental Permitter with demonstrated experience in Massachusetts, to lead environmental regulatory and project permitting efforts, provide project and client management, and support business development opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities

Environmental regulatory and permitting responsibilities include:

Identifying project-specific environmental regulatory requirements
Coordinating with resource agency personnel
Writing and reviewing technical reports
Developing environmental permit applications (federal, state, and local)
Presenting at public meetings
Facilitating successful environmental permitting of multiple and varied projects.

Project management responsibilities may include:

Developing proposals
Managing projects and budgets
Building and managing project teams
Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders, and internal project staff
Performing and overseeing project technical work

Business development responsibilities may include:

Maintaining existing client relations and collaborating to develop and pursue new clients and opportunities.

Additional responsibilities may include coordinating, conducting, and/or leading field work.

The Project Manager must solve problems of significant complexity by providing original, innovative, practical, and economical solutions. Work involves planning, directing, and coordinating complex assignments/projects, modifying established guidelines, and initiating new approaches. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of or experience with coastal resilience planning and permitting, restoration, and adaptation strategies, and will be interested in supporting the firms coastal initiatives.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
