Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues with manufacturing equipment or products during the production process.Â
- Perform regular maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
- Inspect revenue service vehicles when operational issues occur, perform appropriate corrective actions, and report findings and corrective actions to the Manager.
- Perform FMI (Field Modification Instruction) work as assigned, complete all required modification activities, and report the work results and completion status to the Manager.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure the workplace adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance.
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to meet production goals and resolve issues.
- Manage and transport raw materials or finished products within the facility.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.Â
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency.
Education / Experience Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical maintenance, or a similar technical role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or Industrial Maintenance.
Specialized Skill Requirements:
- Expertise in operating, maintaining, and repairing machinery used in the production of railroad components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents for precise manufacturing.
- Experience with tools and techniques for inspecting and testing materials or finished products to meet quality standards.Â
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in manufacturing equipment or processes efficientlyÂ
