Unit Description
Delaware North is a leader in food service management, operating some of the busiest and most famous kitchens in the world. This is no exception when it comes to serving up exquisite cuisines and unforgettable dining experiences in the Boston Hub area including locations such as Banners Kitchen & Tap, Momosan, and the Boston Hub Food Hall.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring efficient service and food quality
- Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items according to recipe and presentation standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns in a professional manner
- Train, coach, and support team members while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Operate and oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, balancing drawers, and ensuring accuracy of sales reporting
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
- Assist with inventory control, product rotation, opening/closing procedures, and shift execution
- Lead by example in a fast-paced environment while promoting a culture of hospitality, quality, and accountability
Qualifications
- Experience working in a restaurant required
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Must be able to implement rules and direct employees
- Ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs while thriving in a fast-paced environment
- No college degree required
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motionsÂ
- Ability to lift stock to 50 pounds occasionallyÂ
- May be required to work outdoors or in variable temperatures depending on the seasonÂ
