Job Summary
SummaryResponsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary healthcare environment to support patients, visitors, and staff. Performs routine housekeeping and environmental services duties throughout assigned hospital areas.

Essential Functions
Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, equipment, and woodwork.
Clean walls, ceilings, doors, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces.
Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish restroom supplies as needed.
Remove debris and litter from building grounds and surrounding areas.
Operate high- and low-speed floor care equipment, including stripping and buffing machines.
Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for hospital activities and special events.
Identify and report maintenance and repair needs within assigned areas.
Follow established safety, infection control, and environmental services procedures.
