Job DetailsJob Location: Cascata Golf Club - Boulder City, NV 89005Position Type: SeasonalTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyPosition Overview The Kitchen Las Vegas is responsible for all food products prepared at the golf club. The Kitchen Las Vegas will work closely with the Food and Beverage team, including other Cooks and Food Servers, to create excellent food in a timely manner. The Kitchen Las Vegas is also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, including dishwashing, storing dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment, along with completing other cleaning duties. The Kitchen Las Vegas reports to the Sous Chef of the club.   Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Prepare and present each food item on the menu Apportion food appropriately Properly store all food and produce Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with all county health codes, including proper food storage, preparation, handling techniques, personal hygiene, and health standards Clean and maintain stations, utensils, kitchen surfaces, and equipment Maintain the dish machine and dish area to ensure cleanliness, prevent buildup, and avoid dishes stacking up Monitor the cleanliness of dishes coming out of the dish machine Clean, organize, and properly store all dishes, silverware, utensils, pots, and pans at the end of each shift Sweep and mop all floors at the end of each shift Empty all trash cans at the end of each shift Maintain a clean and organized dumpster area on a regular basis Monitor cleaning materials and notify management when reordering is necessary Clean and shine stainless counters and equipment on the cooks’ line and in the waiter’s aisle Periodically clean kitchen mats Clean outside patio, tables, chairs, and bar windows   Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent Up-to-date Clark County health card Previous experience as a Cook Comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing multiple orders at once Strong organization skills   In addition, the ideal candidate will be or have: Previous experience as a Cook or Kitchen Supervisor   Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
