Cook needed for School Food Service

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Food Service Cook to join our team serving K-12 students. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking and working in a school environment!

Schedule & Benefits

• Monday – Friday
• Day shift
• No weekends or holidays
• Summers off!

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold meals.
• Follow menus and recipes in accordance with National School Lunch Program (NSLP) guidelines.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Assist with stocking, serving, and food preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and serving area.
• Perform general cleaning and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food preparation experience required.
• K-12 school food service experience preferred.
• ServSafe® certification is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety guidelines.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
