Attracting and retaining great employees is our top priority and the key to our success.   We offer an exciting, supportive, friendly work environment, flexible hours, competitive wages and a great benefits package!   Earning Potential: $50,000 - $90,000/annually Hours: Varied schedules Store Hours: Monday -- Friday 11:00 a.m. -- 7:00 p.m. Saturday -- 10:00 am -- 8:00 pm Sunday -- 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm Responsibilities: Consults with customers who enter the Bedding Department, maximizing their buying and ensuring that they purchase the correct bedding to meet their needs Maintains a neat and clean appearance of the Bedding Department at all times Work with vendor representatives to change out POP as needed to keep room fresh, at least every 6 months Become well versed in all major bedding brands (5 beds) and a resource for all Sales Consultants and customers in that respect Adheres to all company-related policies and procedures Operates all company equipment in a safe and proper manner Maintains a neat and safe work space All other duties as assigned   Qualifications High School diploma Comfort with computers/data entry Professional appearance and ability to interact positively with customers Prior retail sales experience a plus but not required Ability to close sales in a manner   Benefits: 5 day work week Health insurance and Prescription Drug coverage 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Dental and Vision Coverage Generous 30% Employee Merchandise Discount Company-paid Life Insurance Voluntary Long-Term Disability Voluntary Life Insurance Flexible Spending Account Paid Vacation, Holidays and Personal Time Paid 90 Day training period At Bernie & Phyl's Furniture, we recognize and appreciate all of our team members hard work and dedication.
