Job DetailsJob Location: BRANSON, MO 65616Position Type: SeasonalSalary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 HourlyJob Title: The POLAR EXPRESS™ Cast Member - Hobo Division/Department: Branson Scenic Railway/Special Events Reports To: Special Events, Concessions & Retail Manager Type of Position: Non-Exempt/Hourly Classification: Seasonal Compensation: $18-$22/hour Location: Branson, MO     Job Summary: THE POLAR EXPRESS™ is a licensed event through Rail Events Inc. and Warner Brothers Studios. It is a theatrical show based on the movie THE POLAR EXPRESS™ that takes place on a moving train. THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Hobo character frequently moves throughout the show to various locations engaging guests.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Engage and interact with guests as they arrive at the event, board the train and as they leave the event Follow script, memorize lines and remain in character throughout the event Dialogue must be memorized prior to first rehearsal – off book at first rehearsal Learn staging and microphone tracking Other duties as assigned     Education, Skill and Work Experience: Prior acting experience required Proven ability to act in front of live audience with a strong stage and vocal presence Work Environment: Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays required Willing to work in cold, snowy or otherwise inclement winter weather Able to walk in inclement and/or wintry weather and in low-light/nighttime environments Qualifications
