TheStaff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization in Breckenridge,TX and we are looking to hire a compassionate and dependable Unit NurseAssistant to provide indirect patient care in the Medical-Surgical andEmergency Departments as needed.
Reporting to the Director of Med-Surgdepartment, the Unit Nurse Assistant is responsible for assisting patients withactivities of daily living, providing basic nursing care, and helping maintaina safe and clean work environment under the supervision of the LicensedVocational Nurse and Registered Nurse.

KeyResponsibilities
- Coordinateworkflow, respond to emergencies, and document details of patient encounters
- Maintainaccurate and complete patient records and reports
- Recordpatient medical information and vital signs
- Monitorand report patient symptoms, condition changes, and responses to nursing staff
- Supportinfection control efforts and follow required precautions
- Followdirections from physicians and nursing staff
- Maintainprofessional and respectful communication with patients, families, visitors,physicians, and hospital staff
- Assistpatients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care
- Performtreatments and services within scope of practice
- Takeinitiative and complete additional duties as assigned
- Maintaina safe and clean patient care environment under LVN and RN supervision
- Providecare according to established unit guidelines
- Demonstratecompetency in required skills for each care setting

- Maintainprivacy and confidentiality of patient and hospital information

What We Are Looking For
Education, Experience and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of hospital or customer service experience preferred
- CNA certification preferred; on the job training accepted
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
Additional Skills and Attributes
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to adapt to and implement change
- Strong service-oriented approach
- Fluent in spoken and written English; Spanish preferred
- Basic computer skills, including email and internet; Microsoft Office and ability to learn EMR systems
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 30 lbs and occasionally up to 150 lbs
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional patient situations and work effectively in moderate to high-stress environments
