Reportingto the. Physical Therapy Director, The Physical Therapist will develop and implementtreatment plans, perform routine therapy functions, document patient progress,and adjusts treatments based on patient status within the scope of practice.

Essential Duties
- Administerand direct the administration of physical agents, rehabilitation, andtherapeutic treatments under physician direction
- Reviewpatient diagnoses, evaluate conditions, develop treatment plans, performdischarge planning, and complete re-evaluations
- Educateand prepare patients for treatments & monitor patients throughouttreatments
- Applyappropriate physical agents, therapeutic, ambulatory and mobility procedureswhile explaining treatment processes to patients
- Documenttreatments and provide updates to physicians
- Provideage-appropriate care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patientsbased on knowledge of growth and development principles
- Assessand interpret patient status data to identify age-specific needs and providecare according to departmental policies
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program meeting licensure requirements
- Current Texas Physical Therapist license required
- Minimum 3 years of licensed Physical Therapist experience required
- Current CPR certification required
- Open to inpatient, outpatient, andpotentially Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to promote positive relationships with staff, patients, and visitors
- Dependable and punctual work habits
- Abilityto sit, stand, and walk intermittently, with occasional physical exertionduring treatments
- Abilityto frequently bend, stoop, and reach
- Abilityto push and pull up to 300 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs when treating,transferring, or supporting patients
