We provide aerospace test equipment for aircraft production as well as component manufacturing and aftermarket MRO solutions. Besides that, TEST-FUCHS plays a unique and important role in aircraft ground support equipment for the airline industry. Our US-location in Brecksville, Ohio (founded in 2017), and the second global equipment production facility, currently employs around 30 highly qualified employees and offers plenty of room for further growth and personal development.



Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering calculations to justify component and design selections.
  •  Design mechanical solutions in compliance with technical requirements, appointments, cost requirements, existing standards, and relevant specifications with the objective to design a relevant solution within the process 
  •   Create and implement fluid system solutions.
  • Create and maintain project structures within the PLM (project lifecycle management) system 
  • Enforce the population of the “PDM/PLM/ERP-system” with required data and with high quality precisions to facilitate traceability and accurate BOMs associated with developed documents 
  •   Support hydraulic schematic development and system configuration.
  •   Participate in internal projects and continuous development discussion within area of expertise
  • Ensure and conceive mechanical / fluid design solutions in compliance with the technical requirements, appointments, cost requirements, elaborated standards and relevant norms with the target of a resource efficient solution throughout the entire process workflow 
  •   Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field or equivalent industrial experience
    (Advanced degree preferred)
  •   Previous experience in mechanical engineering, hydraulic engineering, or mechanical design preferred 
  •   Technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical / fluid systems 
  •   Basic project / process management skills 
  •   CAD proficiency in both 2D and 3D environments 
  •   Knowledge to applicable safety / mechanical standards and regulations 
  •   Knowledge of BOM management 
  • Proficient in reading hydraulic / electrical schematics
