What You’ll Do:

Grow your Career. Earn real-world experience working alongside Vulcan’s procurement team.

 

Learn the Business. Start your career by understanding our industry, the materials we sell, and spend time working with our procurement department to understand how we support our locations.
Get Hands On. There’s no limit to the impact our interns can have. All employees are taught best practices in safety, health, and excellence, so they can receive hands-on training in one of the many departments across the company in order to maximize their experience and learning.

Skills You’ll Need:

Experience. Previous experience is not required for internships. Pursuing a field of study in Supply Chain would be a plus.

Supply Chain Interest. This opportunity will involve working directly with our Procurement team. An interest in Supply Chain or Purchasing would be a plus.
 

Integrity and Decision-Making. Must display the highest commitment to ethical decision-making and integrity. 
 

Interpersonal Skills. Must be an excellent motivator and team builder. Must be able to form strong social relationships and effectively communicate with both internal and external audiences.
