Must be able to drive standard/manual transmission (10 speed) Class A tractor. Must be available on Saturdays. We are looking for 6 months of experience. This may include driving school.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the safe operation of agency vehicles.
Must always act as a representative of Goodwill and act accordingly, i.e., professionally and courteously.
Will drive straight truck, roll-off (training provided), tractor trailer, and pickup truck.
Will do drop and hook at Goodwill retail stores.
Will learn Attended Donation Center routes and off-loads
Will go to Trash Facility to empty trash containers with roll-off truck
Will learn E-Commerce route and be a backup driver
Will learn Sunday run and be a backup driver
Will learn Good To Go route delivering 16 foot trailer to be a backup driver
Change trash, metal, and cardboard containers as needed in yard.
Will help prepare trailer and trucks as needed for delivery.
Must report all accidents timely and according to standard operating procedures
Great attitude with customer service skills.

Position Requirements:

Hold a valid Connecticut Commercial Class A driver’s license.
Must be able to drive standard/manual (10 speed) Class A tractor
Must have current medical certification.
Must be available Saturdays.
Must be able lift, push, and pull 50lbs.
Flexible start/end time
