Quotation Representative

This role is designed as a development opportunity within the Quoting organization. Participants will gain broad exposure to quoting processes, customer segments, products, and business operations while building the knowledge and skills necessary for long-term career progression within the quoting function. This position is not aligned to a specific account and is intended to provide cross-functional learning and professional growth opportunities.

• Prepare customer quotations, proposals, and related documentation for equipment, refrigeration, and buy-out items by assembling pricing, engineering, and product information

• Configure Hussmann equipment and develop sales proposals that meet customer specifications and project requirements

• Process and track opportunities, quotes, and orders using company-approved systems, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ensuring accuracy and timely completion

• Interpret fixture and refrigeration plans, coordinate product specifications with sales representatives, and verify order accuracy prior to release

• Obtain freight quotations, maintain pricing tools and templates, and support the ongoing accuracy of quoting resources

• Collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales Support teams to support quotation development, order processing, and issue resolution

• Respond to customer and sales inquiries while promoting effective communication and teamwork across departments

• Perform other duties as assigned

• 1-2 years of experience in sales coordination, quoting, customer or technical support, or a related business environment. Experience with Hussmann products or operations preferred

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, fixture plans, refrigeration schedules, and customer specifications

• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM systems, including Microsoft Dynamics, is a plus

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and Hussmann’s Behaviors for Success

• Less than 5% travel required
