Print Production Coordinator

Description

 Fisher Printing is looking for an organized, detail-oriented person to prepare computer files for printing and mailing. This position checks files and quantities, updates job information, and follows up with coworkers to keep orders moving.

What You Will Do

• Receive artwork and mailing lists and check that all files needed for each job are available.
• Prepare files for printing and combine names, addresses, and other mailing information with artwork.
• Use mailing software to organize addresses and ZIP Codes for postal delivery.
• Upload mailing files and print the required postal paperwork.
• Enter and check quantities, update job tickets, and deliver paperwork to the press team.
• Respond to emails and follow up on jobs to make sure they are completed.

Requirements

What You Need

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, email, and organizing electronic files.
• Basic experience using Adobe InDesign to work with artwork and prepare files.
• Accuracy when entering and checking names, addresses, quantities, and instructions.
• Ability to organize several jobs, meet deadlines, and follow up on missing information.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn software, and work independently once familiar with the process.

Helpful Experience

Experience in printing, mailing, prepress, or production support is helpful. Familiarity with AccuZIP, USPS mailing requirements, or combining customer data with artwork is a plus.
