Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach and housing program.  As a Mental Health Residential Worker in Chartiers Center's Diversion and Acute Stabilization (DAS) residential program, you will play an important role in supporting individuals living with mental health challenges as they work toward greater independence, stability, and personal growth.  Chartiers Center's Diversion and Acute Stabilization (DAS) Program provides short-term, supportive residential services for adults experiencing mental health challenges. The program focuses on crisis stabilization, skill building, recovery support, and helping individuals successfully transition to independent community living.  This rewarding position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping residents develop essential life skills in a supportive and recovery-focused environment. Job Responsibilities include: Assist residents with developing and maintaining daily living skills that promote independence and successful community living. Provide training and support in areas of daily living through hands-on assistance, verbal instruction, written guidance, and observation, based on each resident's individual needs and goals. Complete daily household tasks, including meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and shopping, while providing guidance and support to help residents develop and strengthen independent living skills. Respond appropriately to emergencies, crises, and incidents, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents while following agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate and concise documentation of resident interactions, activities, observations, and any incidents occurring during assigned shifts. Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive environment that encourages recovery, personal responsibility, and confidence. If you are compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping others build the skills needed to live independently, we encourage you to join our team and make a difference in the lives of those we serve. At Chartiers Center we offer the following benefits:  Competitive Hourly Rate plus 10% shift differential for 11pm-7am shift  Medical, Dental and Vision  Short- and Long-Term Disability  Life Insurance  Retirement Plan  8 Paid Holidays  Generous Paid Time Off  Tuition Reimbursement  Full Time and Part Time Available  Positive and fulfilling work environment!  Daylight, evenings, weekends, overnight.
