JOB TITLE: Parking Attendant 

DIVISION: Mountain Operations

REPORTS TO:  Parking and Roads Supervisor & Parking and Roads Manager

LOCATION: Moonbeam Lodge or The Village

CLASSIFICATION:  Full-Time/ Part-Time/ Seasonal/ Hourly

POSITION: 

Solitude is seeking an attentive and detail-oriented parking attendant to keep Solitude’s parking areas safe and organized. A parking attendant performs various functions in ensuring a satisfactory parking experience for guests. Solitude expects a friendly and helpful environment from these individuals to prevent any confusion and displeasure as they will be the first point of contact when guests arrive. This position is most important when maintaining safe and efficient loading zones and providing assistance and guidance to guests in a courteous, professional and respectful manner. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must have sufficient communication skills to answer guest questions and the physical ability necessary to complete all other Parking and Roads duties and responsibilities
• Willing to work flexible work schedules that may include holidays and weekends 
• Must have the desire and ability to tolerate and work in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time including cold temperatures, inclement weather, and moving between indoor and outdoor environments
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• The ability to meet and/or exceed satisfactory performance levels in all duties as assigned

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Snow removal with snow shovels and power-assisted snow removal equipment
• Constant and continuous collection of trash and debris, sweeping, etc.
• Open to accepting other parking maintenance duties and responsibilities within the department.
• Communicate in a pleasant and respectful manner with fellow employees and guests
• Assist guests with parking directions and with their equipment in loading zones.
• Possess and implement a thorough knowledge of appropriate procedures
• Be tactful and diplomatic when interacting with guests
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
