Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

A PT-owned orthopedic outpatient office in Briny Breezes, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient treatment and progress. This role is hands-on, active, and centered on helping patients complete therapy plans that improve movement, function, and independence.

The clinic maintains a patient volume of 2 patients per hour, allowing the PTA to stay present and involved during treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out treatment activities directed by the Physical Therapist
  • Assist with therapeutic exercise, functional strengthening, and mobility training
  • Help patients improve balance, coordination, range of motion, and activity tolerance
  • Watch patient response and report updates to the PT
  • Support patient education and home program review
  • Prepare equipment and treatment spaces
  • Complete daily documentation accurately
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience
  • FL PTA License required
  • PTA Degree required
  • Outpatient experience preferred
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
