What is needed for this job as our Lead Aquatics Specialist:

18+ years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1+ years of experience in pool management or aquatics administration preferred
1+ years of experience teaching swim lessons preferred
Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required or ability to obtain certification upon hire (training provided)

The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Lead Aquatics Specialist:

Ensure the safety and active supervision of all pool participants by maintaining a secure and welcoming aquatic environment
Provide professional lifeguard coverage, continuously monitoring the pool area and responding promptly and effectively to emergencies
Teach group and private swim lessons, emphasizing water safety, skill development, confidence-building, and individualized instruction
Deliver exceptional customer service to participants, families, and community members
Monitor pool operations to ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures
Assist with the daily operation, organization, and administration of aquatic programs and activities
Support the overall success of the aquatics program through teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to participant safety and engagement
