What You'll Do

As the Staff Development Nurse, you'll play a key role in supporting the success of our nursing team and ensuring exceptional resident care. You'll coordinate and deliver orientation programs, ongoing education, and competency training while mentoring and supporting team members throughout their careers. Working closely with nursing leadership, you'll identify training needs, promote regulatory compliance, and help foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and professional growth. Through your clinical expertise, coaching, and encouragement, you'll empower staff with the knowledge and confidence needed to provide outstanding care to our residents.

What We're Looking For

  • Current Nebraska RN or LPN license in good standing
  • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting others
  • Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or hospital experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to organize educational programs and track training requirements
  • Current CPR Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Participation in the nurse leadership team's on-call phone rotation
