Job Details: Level: Entry, Job Location: O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center - Masury, OH, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Purpose:- The Activities Assistant is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of engaging activities and programs that enhance the quality of life for residents.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in organizing and implementing a variety of recreational activities.- Collaborate with the team to develop new programs that meet the interests and needs of residents.- Encourage resident participation and provide support during activities.- Maintain activity supplies and ensure areas are clean and safe.- Document and report resident attendance and participation feedback.Qualifications: Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalentRequired Experience:- Experience in a similar role in a healthcare or senior living environment- Experience in planning and organizing group activitiesRequired Skills and Abilities:- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively as part of a team- Creativity in developing engaging activities- Basic computer proficiency for scheduling and reporting
