Valet Attendant (Part-Time)

Position Summary

The Valet Attendant is the face of our operation. In this role, you will make an exceptional first and lasting impression on every guest by engaging with them in a positive, friendly, and professional manner. Your primary goal is to provide an elite customer experience while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality vehicle service.

Shift Schedule: Wednesday & Thursday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Experience Level: Either 1+ years of valet experience OR 2+ years of general driving experience.
Must know how to drive a stick shift (manual transmission).

Key Responsibilities

Safety First: Maintain strict awareness of your surroundings and operate all guest vehicles safely to minimize any risk of accidents.
Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional, upbeat customer service using professional communication and VPNE-approved language choices.
Garage Logistics: Efficiently track keys and vehicles throughout the garage layout to ensure quick retrieval times.
Teamwork & Operations: Help facilitate smooth shift transitions, maintain strict organization, and complete light cleaning duties as assigned.
Professional Presence: Look sharp, remain neatly groomed at all times, and adhere closely to the VPNE attendance policy.

Core Qualifications & Requirements

Transmission Skills: Must know how to drive a stick shift (manual transmission).
Experience: Either 1+ years of valet experience OR 2+ years of general driving experience.
Age & Legal: Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Driver’s License in your state of residency.
Background Checks: Must possess a clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's insurance provider, and be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
Language: Proficient in English (both written and verbal).

Physical & Interpersonal Demands

An upbeat, friendly personality with a willingness to smile and go the extra mile for customers.
Ability to stand for long periods, run, and move quickly to keep wait times low.
Ability to safely pass a practical driving test.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
