Position: De-Rack / Inspector Associate

Shift & Schedule

A Shift
Monday–Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Overtime as needed

Position Summary

The De-Rack / Inspector Associate is responsible for removing plated parts from racks, performing visual inspections to identify obvious defects, and accurately packing parts for the next stage of production or shipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality and supporting production efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • De-rack parts as they come off the plating line

  • Perform visual inspections to identify obvious defects or nonconformances

  • Accurately identify, count, and pack parts according to work instructions

  • Report defects, mislabeling, or incorrect counts to the lead or supervisor

  • Maintain proper workflow to meet production goals

  • Work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Competencies, Skills & Experience

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on first-time, unsupervised accuracy

  • Prior manufacturing or inspection experience preferred (training provided)

  • Ability to stand and perform de-racking and inspection tasks for extended periods

  • Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed, often on short notice 

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Stand, walk, and move throughout the shift

  • Use hands repetitively to handle and de-rack parts

  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Twist, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend as required
